Sun 1/4 ~ Sat 1/10

Well, it has been a wonderful vacation for us, but today finds us trying to get back to our routine. It's going to be a bit of a challenge because we've done nothing but eat, eat eat over the past few weeks...and you can imagine, it wasn't all that healthy. I may go through sugar with drawls for a few days. LOL Also, for the next 2 or 3 months, it's just Kate and I...it's harder than I thought planning decent meals for the two of us. I'm so used to cooking for 3 plus left overs for Gene's lunches the next day...I did this before when Gene was in Iraq, so I know I'll get back on track. Our meals this week are not necessarily the healthiest, but I want to clear out the freezer and start fresh, so we'll be using things up that have been sitting in there.

Sun. 1/4 ~ Spaghetti and meatballs

Mon. 1/5 ~ Cheese steak sandwiches and salad

Tues. 1/6 ~ Smoked pork chops, peas and buttered noodles

Wed. 1/7 ~ Home made mac and cheese

Thurs. 1/8 ~ Grilled herb rubbed chicken, mixed steamed veggies and pasta of some sort (haven't decided on that yet)

Fri. 1/9 ~ Hamburger Helper and carrots

Sat. 1/10 ~ yo-yo night
